Pascal Bouttier-Butler

Pascal has been a member of our training group since the age of 10. Initially featuring strongly in schools competitions, he claimed individual Schools XC League and Track (1500m) medals, and represented both Leicestershire / Leicestershire Schools at XC, and the East Midlands in the London Mini-Marathon.

Pascal has in more recent times developed as a strong XC runner, and a burgeoning talent on the local road running scene.

In early 2015 Pascal claimed an individual bronze medal (U17M) at the County XC Championships, and led his club (Leicester Coritanian AC) to a Silver Medal position (U17M) in the Midland Counties XC Championships, with a fine 14th place individual finish despite being at the bottom of his age group.

In Spring 2015 Pascal (aged 16) ran the 2nd. quickest leg in the U20M race at the Livingston Road Relays, setting up his club for a dominant race victory. Throughout the Summer Pascal featured strongly in local road races, often taking the prize for the best U20M finisher. He finished the summer with times that left him prominently ranked in the national (RunBritain) road race rankings for both 5 Miles & 10K.

Pascal’s (road) personal bests include: 1 Mile in 4-45 (September 2016); 5k in 16-36 (October 2016); 5M in 28-32 (August 2015); & 10K in 34-59 (July 2015)
